Cong Dam village which is located on Bai Tu Long bay is an old and small village ,far from the mainland. The population of this village is about 120 people. This is also the area including many coral reefs, underground limestone, underwater caves, etc, surrounding Cong Dam village are many different islets and beautiful beaches with white, smooth sand and clear, blue waters.
Especially, Cong Dam fishing village has retained its traditional fishing culture, it is still a small ancient village which floats on a vast expanse of clear water. Talking with local people, you will hear them tell tales of their memorable lives or sit in bamboo boát paddled by local woman who will take you to explore the magnificent mountains and beautiful small houses. Moreover, tourists have chance to participate in many interesting activities such as rowing boat or kayaking to discover mysterious caves or enjoy dreaming beaches nearby. The number of visitors to Cong Dam fishing village is not much. Hence, the scenery there has been remaining primitive and the environment is very clean. This area has many majestic lime-stone mountains and pristine coral reefs.
